Voting

Voting will begin at 6:00 pm (Central) on Wednesday, March 26th. This final round of voting will close at Noon (Central) on Wednesday, April 9th.

To cast a vote, click on the the VOTE image on the main Welcome page. Voting will be conducted on a pop-up window, so please allow your browser to accept browsers and cookies.  Each person may vote once per day.  In this first round, you may vote for one arts management and one recreation management project per day.  In order to vote, you will be asked for the following information:

• E-mail Address
  • We will use this information only to track that you have not already voted for the day. You will also receive an e-mail announcing the winner of each round. At the end of the competition, we will delete the file containing voter e-mails.
• Zip Code
  • We will use your zip code to track the popularity of this competition and the advertising methods that students are using for their proposals.
• Are you a faculty/staff/student at the University of Iowa?
  • Anyone is allowed to vote in this competition, but we would like to see how many votes are coming from people who may attend the 2008 Welcome Week.

Once you have submitted your vote for the day, a second pop-up window will appear that lists the current vote totals for each proposal. We encourage you to vote each day and to promote this competition with your friends and colleagues.We reserve the right to nullify any votes that appear to be fraudulent. Since this competition is a class project at the University of Iowa, any teams caught cheating will face the disciplinary measures outlined in the UI student handbook.
